During my recent stay at Albergue De Caldas De Reis Urraca, I was pleasantly surprised by the charm of the quadruple room we occupied, which felt more like a private suite with its inviting white interiors and a lovely balcony overlooking the river. The location, nestled next to a historic bridge, was perfect for soaking in the local culture and easy access to the town’s sights. What made a difference was the welcoming staff and the availability of free WiFi, which allowed me to share our adventures instantly with friends, as I was traveling with fellow history enthusiasts. While the communal facilities such as the shared kitchen and laundry proved practical for our group, the Albergue's overall maintenance could benefit from attention; for a reasonable price, however, it was a nice stop on our journey along the Camino.
